Supplements For Dogs

Jennifer Jhon February 22, 2021

Did you think supplements were just for us two-legged folks? Think again! Young Living supplements are AMAZING FOR US, but they’re also critical for your pet as well!

AgilEase

AgilEase is a joint health supplement. AgilEase can reduce occasional joint discomfort to support the body’s healthy response to inflammation from exercise.

  • Supports and protects joint and cartilage health.
  • Beneficial for athletes and active individuals of all ages who want to support and protect their joints and cartilage.
  • Perfect companion to an active lifestyle, promoting healthy joint function and supporting cartilage health.
  • Helps ease occasional joint discomfort to improve quality of life.

Omegagize

Omegagize combines the power of three core daily supplements: Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D-3, and CoQ10 (ubiquinone). Used daily, these ingredients work synergistically to support normal brain, heart, eye, and joint health.

Sulfurzyme

Sulfurzyme combines wolfberry with MSM, a naturally occurring organic form of dietary sulfur needed by our bodies every day to maintain the structure of proteins, protect cells and cell membranes, replenish the connections between cells, and preserve the molecular framework of connective tissue.

MSM also supports the immune system, the liver, circulation, and proper intestinal function and works to scavenge free radicals.

Wolfberries contain minerals and coenzymes that support the assimilation and metabolism of sulfur.

NingXia Red

NingXia Red is a whole-body supplement! This sweet and tangy drink’s formula includes wolfberry, which is touted for its health benefits. Also featuring plum, aronia, cherry, blueberry, and pomegranate juices and extracts, Young Living’s NingXia Red is packed with superfoods to support overall wellness.

Benefits include support for energy levels, normal cellular function, immune system health, and whole-body and normal eye health.

Named after a province in China which provides its particularly unique wolfberry, Ningxia Red is high in antioxidant power and contains amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

And did you know that our pets can benefit from all of this goodness as well? I used it to help my rescue doggie. You can give dogs a splash of Ningxia Red every morning in their dog food or water. It is a real health booster!

Dosage guidelines:

  • Birds and Exotics: 1/2 teaspoon of NR per day
  • Cats: DO NOT USE. It contains citrus, which they don’t metabolize well.
  • Dogs: up to 20 lbs – 1/4 ounce per day
  • Dogs: 20-50 lbs – 1/2 ounce per day
  • Dogs: 50-100 lbs – 3/4 ounce per day
  • Dogs: over 100 lbs – 1 ounce per day
  • Horses and large animals: 1-2 ounces per day.

Wolfberries

Guess what’s now ORGANIC? Ningxia dried wolfberries! And guess who absolutely loves them (besides you)? YOUR DOG!

Yep, you heard that right. All those same wonderful ways we benefit from Ningxia wolfberries apply to our furry friends as well. The wolfberry’s nutritional profile includes polyphenols, polysaccharides, and a distinctive ratio of trace nutrients – all of which make this an excellent choice to maintain your dog’s whole body wellness!

We put ½ tablespoon of wolfberries in our dog’s dinner dish each night, but you could also incorporate these into homebaked treats. Your dog will thank you!

Life 9 & Longevity

Both of these supplements are good internally for dogs. Prevention is way cheaper than treatment.

Longevity supports a healthy immune system. Taking Longevity may also help repel mosquitos for both humans and dogs. You can also use ParaFree and Longevity capsules orally instead of Frontline or HeartGard.

Life 9 is a must for dogs and humans nightly, as well.
