Doggie DIYs

Oh My Goodness, these DIYs are amazing!

Dog Shampoo

2T Castile Soap

1 C water

4 drops Peppermint

5 drops Lavander

5 drops Cedarwood

 

Dry Shampoo

1C Baking Soda

1C Corn Starch

4 drops Lavendar

 

Clean Ears

4oz carrier Oil

1C water

8 drops Lavender

5 drops Bergamot

5 drops Melrose

6 drops german Chamomile

Mix all ingredients. Store in a glass jar. Shake well before each use. Apply to cotton ball and rub inside ear flap to loosen dirt. Do not drip into ear canal.

Another option: Melrose, Purification or Lavender, or a combination of these, are good to put on a cotton ball and clean the ears out, especially after being in the water.

 

Day Trippers Spritz

4 drops Purification

4 drops Citronella

1 drop Cedarwood

2 drops Palo Santo

1 drop Thyme

Add oils to 4 oz. glass spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with water. Shake well before each use. Spritz coat before heading outside. So not spray near the eyes or face.

 

Anxious Dog Spray

In an 8 oz bottle, add:

20 drops Lavender

10 drops Cedarwood

5 drops Vetiver

5 drops Frankincense

Top off with distilled water. Shake before each use.

 

Carpet Deodorizer

Who couldn’t use a little neutralizing on their carpet after the dogs have been playing outside? This mix is simple to make:

1C baking soda

10 drops Purification

5 drops Thieves

Combine in a jar, sprinkle on carpet and let sit for 20 minutes. Vacuum.

 

Dog Cologne (Eww De Dog)

1C water

10 drops Lavender

15 drops Purification

6 drops Orange

6 drops Peppermint

Mix all ingredients. Store in glass spray bottle. Spritz coat as needed. Do not spray near eyes or face.
