Peppermint

Peppermint is great for overall vitality, clarity and digestive support! It is also useful to support your pet’s active lifestyle.

Use Peppermint in training when mastering new concepts. It calms the mind and lessens the fear of the unknown.

Peppermint will also cool Rover down, help him focus and have mental clarity, ease his joints and muscles, and it is a KEY oil for the digestive system!

How To Use Peppermint

Peppermint Vitality benefits include gastrointestinal comfort and normal digesting support in addition to the great taste.

  • Add a drop to his food for parasites, nausea, tummy trouble, etc.
  • Add a drop to your favorite DIY pet treat/biscuit recipe or combine 1 drop with 1/4 cup coconut oil and brush tops of a batch of homemade dog biscuits after baking.
  • Peppermint is also great specifically for itchy skin!
  • Try making a spray bottle this summer to keep our pups nice and cool!
  • You can add 1 drop in a water bowl to help hasten internal heating. It wouldn’t hurt to freshen breath either, right? (Just remember not to use a plastic water bowl with essential oils.)

FUN FACT: Young Living peppermint oil is so potent that one drop of oil is like drinking 26 cups of peppermint tea.  A little goes a very long way.  It takes one pound of raw peppermint material to make one 15ml bottle of peppermint oil.
