Raindrop Technique For Dogs

Jennifer Jhon February 22, 2021

Remember how good Raindrop Massage feels? The Raindrop Technique can also be used on dogs!

Raindrop Technique

The Raindrop Technique is a unique practice based on methods that have been used for centuries to rejuvenate the body and mind! The Raindrop Technique helps bring balance and harmony to the body by combining targeted massage and distinctive energy approaches.

  • Vitaflex predates acupuncture and acupressure. The Raindrop Technique helps to support the immune system.
  • Balances structural alignment and emotional stability and works with the electrical energies in our body.
  • Dogs metabolize oils in 20 minutes, but the action acts longer.

Look it up on YouTube and give that fluffy ball of love a Raindrop massage!

Here are some note on doggie raindrops that will help. Make sure to read what the oils are good for in humans, too.

Raindrop On Dogs

  1. One drop of VALOR in hand and rub into each pads on all four feet. Valor resets everything like a replaced blown fuse. Put a drop of Valor with one hand between shoulders and one on the sacrum (the palm directly on the center of the spine.)
  2. One drop of OREGANO rubbed into all four paws. If it gets too hot for the dog, dilute with a carrier oil immediately.
  3. One drop of THYME rubbed into all four paws. Thyme protects the integrity of fatty organs (brain and liver).
  4. One drop of BASIL rubbed into all four paws. Basil is tremendous for seasonal discomfort and powerful for neurotoxins and building resistance to venomous bites. It may also work as an anti-spasmodic.
  5. One drop of MARJORAM. Think muscles. Literally will help to strengthen and rebuild muscles. Helps support the heart.
  6. One drop of CYPRESS. It’s all about circulation. Strengthens the motility of the blood but it does not increase blood pressure or pulse rate. It supports the blood vessel wall (capillary, vein, artery…) and the vitality of the blood. Maintains the viscosity, especially used with Copaiba or Helichrysum.
  7. One drop of WINTERGREEN. Good support for bones and tendons and the respiratory system. Encourages resiliency, both emotional and physical.
  8. One drop of PEPPERMINT. This oil is cooling to overheated tissue and highly anti-parasitic (especially with Oregano and DiGize). End with peppermint because it drives all the prior oils into the cells deeper.
At this point you may need to let the dog walk around a bit to get the wiggles out. The Raindrop should be done right after vaccinations.
  9. Now we are moving to the back. Repeat the oils 1-9 in a raking motion up the spine. Right under the nail is a high electrical point that is also a transfer point (i.e., scooting along carpet then touching another person to shock them.)
  10. MARJORAM goes on either side of the spine. Do thumb circles working your way up the spine and really work the Marjoram into the muscle.
  11. CYPRESS then goes on both sides of the spine. Use the seesaw rocking motion up the spine. Then stretch the skin on the spine by elongating the spine. Do this three times. This encourages the spine to relax and the vertebrate to realign. Massage the head so the atlas relaxes.
  12. AROMA SIEZ is applied up the spine and then the body is generally massaged. AromaSiez supports healthy muscles, ligaments, and tendons. If I could only choose one oil for my muscles, ligaments, and tendons, it’d be either Aroma Siez or Idaho Balsam Fir. Massage this oil into the body.

After a Raindrop, one should drink A LOT of water to flush toxins. Staying in the shade is necessary for outdoor animals. Dogs must be able to run, move, and roll, and they should take 24-hour break from hard physical work.
