Lemon
Did you know it takes 75 lemons to make one 15-ml bottle of Lemon oil? Lemon oil is cold-pressed from lemon rinds. Lemon essential oil has a strong, purifying, citrus scent that is revitalizing and uplifting.
It contains 68 percent d-limonene, so it’s a powerful antioxidant. Lemon can also be used to enhance the flavor of foods and water and may be beneficial for the skin. It also diffuses for a fabulous, fresh scent.
Lemon is also one of Young Living’s most popular essential oils. It is included in their Everyday Oils collection because it is versatile as well as a great choice to introduce people and dogs to Young Living. Lemon oil is fantastic for removing chewing gum from your dog’s fur! It is also useful for training older dogs.
Citrus Fresh
Citrus Fresh is a relaxing and calming blend.
Rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene, it supports the immune system and overall health while bringing about a sense of well-being, creativity, and feelings of joy. This blend contains the following oils:
- Lemon – cleansing and immune supporting properties
- Mandarin – uplifting to the mind and body and brings happiness and peace
- Tangerine – supports the lymphatic system
- Orange – known as a “happy” oil
- Grapefruit – uplifting and relieves occasional and minor stress
- Spearmint – helps your body release emotional blocks
Citrus Fresh comes in both Vitality and regular (remember it’s the same oil).
Sensing the “blues” coming on for your dog? Citrus Fresh will help uplift moods by using it in your diffuser. This blend is also a perfect replacement for chemical-based home fresheners. It removes STICKY RESIDUE, so if your pet gets into something sticky, try this. (Lemon does this too.)
Citrus Fresh Vitality
This mix can be used to add zest to your pet. This invigorating and pleasant blend is an ideal addition to water. But remember to not put essential oils in plastic dog dishes – only into glass, stainless steel or ceramic bowls.
