Lesson 5 of 6
In Progress

Joints, Muscles, Jet Lag

Tara Carlson January 25, 2021

How many of you feel tired and sore after traveling?

Here are some of our favorite things to do to prepare our bodies for all that sitting:

  1. Drink water! Our muscles need water to stay hydrated and flexible- especially when there’s limited movement for long periods of time. Limited movement + limited blood flow = cramping
  2. Keep your Deep Relief, PanAway, or your favorite oils for muscles nearby. Oil up your areas of concern BEFORE they get sore. If you don’t want to smell like a Peppermint Patty, Copaiba is subtle and works great to ease stiff muscles and joints.
  3. Stretch at the gate or take a brisk walk around the airport before hopping on that 747.
  4. Compression socks. Boost circulation in your legs, support your veins, and diminish leg swelling with supportive stockings.
  5. Struggling with jet lag? Don’t forget your Sleep Essence! This supplement will help keep your sleeping schedule on track.
  6. Avoid eating fatty foods or foods high in carbs on traveling day, to help lessen your jet lag symptoms.
