April 5th… made doctors appointment for pain under left rib, that intensified while lying down. Scale from 1-10, it was an 8 while lying down. Thought it was a spleen problem. Couldn’t get in to see a doctor until April 13th unless I went to urgent care.
April 7th… Brenda’s announcement about Colon Cleanse Challenge. Decided to join as I have had issues with constipation most of my life. I’ve tried the Trio cleanse a few times for a month, but ICP caused issues, so I would quit and I never passed the black lining.
April 13th… Doctors examination said the bend in the large colon was right under my left rib and it was backed up. So, my spleen wasn’t causing the pain, it was constipation. My doctor recommended I use Miralax. I googled “Dangers of Miralax” and found it has polyethylene glycol 3350 in it, which messes with the nervous system. I chose to tolerate the pain and start the Cleansing Trio ASAP.
April 24th… I started the Trio but I ordered ICP Daily instead of regular ICP. It says it’s gentler. Brenda suggested “Smooth Move Tea” to get things moving. I had to use it because even with Comfortone, things weren’t moving well. I used Smooth Move for 5 days in a row, which caused intense cramping, but was a very moving experience. Once I stopped the Smooth move, I was taking 3 Comfortone morning and evening…3 Detoxzyme morning and 3 before bed on an empty stomach…1 Essentialzyme before my biggest meal…and 1/4-1/2 scoop ICP Daily. That kept me on a daily cleansing schedule.
Issues…. in the beginning the cleanse was causing me to be nauseous, tired, and moody. The cramps at 4:00AM whenever I took Smooth Move didn’t help. And yes, I put Digize on my abdomen before bed and throughout the day.

Daily Water intake…84 oz or more. My regular routine….I exercise at home 4 days a week with stretches, toners, strengtheners. I walk 2-3 times a week 2-3+ miles and bike occassionaly. I also clean 2 houses a day, 4 days a week for my cleaning business. I’m a simple eater, it’s just me at home. I normally don’t eat sugary things, bread, red meat and I watch my sodium because I puff up easy. I really don’t have cravings. If I do, I put JuvaFlex over my liver and the liver vita flex point and that takes care of it.
May 12th and 13th I was feeling fantastic. The nauseous feeling was gone, no more tiredness, and I was feeling light and happy. THEN…I went to a 60th BD sleepover and ate sugar and had a couple glasses of wine and I haven’t gotten back to that euphoric feeling again. I found that while doing this cleanse, my system, which is very sensitive to begin with, cannot take anything that is unhealthy without disrupting my digestive system and colon. It’s frustrating.
As of June 3rd…I take 3 Comfortone AM and PM…3 Detoxzyme on an empty stomach AM and right before bed. 1/3 scoop ICP Daily between dinner and bedtime. Smooth Move whenever I feel things are starting to clog. (maybe once a week or every other week.) Eating simple and healthy.
My favorite tip from the group…Brenda suggested using crunchy lettuce to wrap meals in. I love it! Nice and crunchy and gives it a fresh feel and taste. Nice and simple.
