My Experience With The Cleansing Trio
This is Soooooo TMI. But here goes.
Most of my life I was constipated, but didn’t really know it. I can remember even as a little girl it was an every 4-5 day event for me, but I didn’t know that wasn’t normal. It seemed to work well for me. About 8 years ago, seemingly overnight, it changed to diarrhea. Well, I knew THAT wasn’t normal! But I adapted to it. In the last year it’s been getting worse – harder to deal with. Then someone told me that the diarrhea was actually severe constipation, and the body is finding any way it can to push it out. I decided to add supplements and hoped for the best.
When I heard about the Cleansing Team Challenge with clean eating, I decided to give it a try. Right out the starting gate, at the beginning of this journey, there was a miraculous change for me. Just two days in, the diarrhea stopped. After 8 years of it, it is gone!!!! That alone is worth celebrating. But – I still had work to do.
I had never been a huge sweet eater, but I admit during the last year’s lockdown I at more than my share of ice cream. I wasn’t big on chips and junk food, but still ate my share of it. I do love my red meat and I have a serious relationship with potatoes and rice and cheese. All of that was hard to give up. I did remarkably well though during the challenge – because of my early success I was so hopeful! My cleaning quiz score was only 13, but I knew I could benefit from doing this. So I made a BIG shopping trip, and got ready!
I started with 1 comfortone morning and night, and an essentialzyme with each meal. Over the course of the challenge that went up to 3 comfortones morning and night. And I added 5 detoxyme at bed time. The water was hard to get used to since I really only drank about 8 oz a day. Now I’m at 64! Something gave me a big headache days 2 – 4 when I first started. I was glad when that went away. Since I don’t drink much caffeine that was confusing.
People have commented on my skin. Not really sure what they are seeing, but apparently it’s better! I gained 2 pounds when I first started and I’ve lost those finally – but I haven’t lost a lot of weight since then like some have. BUT – I wish I had measured myself before, because I have definitely lost inches! For example – I have had my belt on the 2nd notch for most of my jeans for a few years now. During the lockdown – that expanded out to the 1st notch. Now I’m at the 3rd notch, so that my jeans don’t slip down! That feels pretty good. My husband noticed I have slimmed down, and a couple other people asked about it, too. So even though the scale doesn’t show it – I’m definitely fitting into my clothes better. I’m also sleeping better, which is strange for me because my husband insists on sleeping with the T.V. on so it usually wakes me up a lot. Not lately though! I’m sleeping more, and better. Cravings were not a problem really, to start with… happy about that. I was full with the foods I was eating. My husband did eat SOME of my meals with me, but I did fix him some normal meals that I could not eat, and mine was separate. And surprisingly, I was OK with that.
I was surprised when I found my BEFORE photos. I really have released some body fat! I took my AFTER photos and thought maybe the difference was because I was in a loose black shirt, so I found the same shirt I was wearing in my before photo and took them again. Still looks better!
I’ve slimmed down, and I no longer have diarrhea. That is so much to celebrate! But I’m not regular yet. I haven’t even started the ICP yet. But I’m not giving up. I’m going to keep it up because some day I will have normal function.
Wait – did I tell you? I NO LONGER HAVE DIARRHEA!!!! Woo-hoo!!!
