Emotions Rule The World

Life is all about choices. One needs to ask oneself: Is my life full of deep burning purpose? Do I know what I want in life? Am I fulfilled with what I do? Am I making a difference? Am I afraid of success? Am I caught in my own web?

Whatever you do in this life, do something that makes a difference. Do something where what is left behind makes a difference. No one and nothing can take away you freedom of choice. The other thing that no one can take away is your choice to take action.

People say that they are doing all the things they can do to reach a goal, yet they are not engaged. They become victims of their own choices.

How can you change these thoughts? If you want to change something, you first have to accept it. If you don’t, then it will simply push back. “Hey, I’m 10 pounds overweight but it would be quite OK to drop about 10 pounds.” NOT: I need to lose weight! I need to lose weight!

The Power of Emotions

Emotions are the most powerful tool we have in our arsenal. They are equally powerful in their instruction and destruction. We can use them to either dive us into greatness or into the grave, but they will drive us one way or another. We need to take control of our emotions.

There many ways to choose in life – just be sure you CHOOSE one. Do NOT say “I don’t want to do that…” because each time you say that, you build another block of negative energy around you. It’s self-sabotage. Energy gets spent building up life rather than accepting life. Don’t set yourself up with “I can’t, I won’t.” Use words that leave the door open so that you are never closing life out.

  • Life is based on structure, belief, and behavior patterns. It’s almost impossible to build successful patterns by using negative words and declarations.
  • We inherit attitudes, behavior patterns, and beliefs. But we have a choice. We can change how we see ourselves.
  • We can change our beliefs, which will change your attitudes, which will change our behaviors.
  • Look down the barrel of life, set your sights on what you want and make it happen.
  • Success is a choice. Give yourself permission to expand your world. Always look forward.
  • Everything that goes on in life is emotional and is always there before the physical manifestation. Our greatest power is self-evaluation, if we are honest with ourselves. Clarity & Believe are helpful in awareness. God created each of us for a specific purpose. We need to choose to fulfill our unique destiny.
  • Life is about choice. No one can choose for you. You must make your own choices. There is a consequence to every choice you make.
  • Emotions and feelings are real. The more people are able to resolve their emotions, the greater potential they can have.
  • When you smell an oil, it is emotional first before it is rational. This is how your body responds to the oil without the brain thinking about it.
  • When you are around a bunch of negative people, how do you end up feeling? Negative. Focus on your emotional health so you can be happy. People will notice when you are happy!

Why use Essential Oils for Emotions?

Emotions are SO hard for us to keep in check and even harder sometimes to figure out WHY we are so unbalanced. There are so many things affecting our emotions on a daily basis. Lack of sleep? Strained relationships? Stress at work? Even the weather outside can add another layer to our already complicated emotional state.

It may be messy, but our emotional stuff is real. We can’t deny it. We all need emotional support. In fact, studies recently found that one in six American adults have taken a psychiatric drug. One in six!! And the study goes on to say that the majority of those surveyed have been on them for the long-haul.

These facts make it clear that we are not the only ones seeking ways to support our emotions. But there’s a better way. A more natural way.

When we initially think about “aromatherapy,” it is generally to help with something emotional. Think about what the smell of fresh flowers, saltwater at the beach, clean laundry, or citrus fruit do for your emotions.

Using essential oils can support your emotional outlook and help to balance your emotions as you go through your day. One reason for that is frequency. We will explore the science of essential oils and their frequency in the next two lessons.
